INDOCHINO OPENS MEN’S APPAREL SHOWROOM IN BETHESDA ROW

New location doubles the access to made to measure suits and shirts in DC area

Bethesda, MD – INDOCHINO, the global leader in made to measure apparel, opened a new showroom in Bethesda Row today. This is the second location in the Washington, DC area for the digitally native brand, built in response to growing customer demand for more access to perfectly tailored, fully personalized clothing that doesn’t cost a fortune.

“We’ve been seeking a second location close to DC ever since we opened in Tysons Galleria last summer as the showroom quickly became one of our busiest stores,” says Drew Green, CEO of INDOCHINO. “Bethesda Row is an ideal second location for us. The dining and shopping found here align perfectly with the INDOCHINO brand and we’re excited to now bring our experiential approach, innovative product and attractive price point to this thriving district.”

The new showroom is conveniently situated on Bethesda Avenue across from Besthesda Lane, nestled between Apple and North Face. When they enter the store, customers are paired with a Style Guide who helps them build their online profile and design their one-of-a-kind suit, blazer, vest, pants or shirt. They take measurements, introduce the customer to fabric options, and walk shoppers through personalization options, including buttons, pockets, lapels and monograms. Each garment is delivered to the customer’s door three weeks later.

“Indochino represents a growing trend of e-retailers establishing brick-and-mortar locations in only the best marketplaces, and we’re excited that they’ve chosen Bethesda Row for their next showroom location,” said Dan Corwin, Director of Asset Management-Mixed Use at Federal Realty Investment Trust. “It’s another example of the way we’ve thoughtfully looked at leasing and remerchandising to add the right mix of forward-thinking retailers to the community for our customers, whom we believe are always in search of quality, innovation, and variety. Indochino embodies these values, and we look forward to bringing this new made to measure menswear destination to our collection of retail.”

Bethesda is the 26th showroom location for the brand. INDOCHINO plans to open eight new showrooms over the next four months. Along with Bethesda, Denver and Dallas showrooms also open this month, followed by Short Hills and Scottsdale in June. Columbus and Newport Beach are slated to open this summer in addition to New York’s Madison Ave, later in the summer.
